Domestic Partnership??

In California it's easy. A $10 fee to register and no fee to terminate.

The CA one I read was actually the one that required opposite sex couples to have one member above age 62. I will have to look more at Oregon's though, thanks!

In all fairness, I don't really think you have the all the info needed to make a comment on our commitment to each other. I'd trust in the fact that we have reasons for doing it this way.

Any other help you could offer I'd appreciate though!

Are you going for the Tuscon base then? It's a fun place--I think it's pretty much the same people that were there when I was based there 4 years ago. Terrible trips though.

As far as domestic partners go, there's ways that you can get your boyfriend on a domestic partnership status with Skywest without getting married...it involves showing joint bank accounts, bills, leases, etc. That might be easier than actually going through a state agency. You can get him designated a "travel companion" on Delta no problem, but that is pretty useless and still has a cost per leg.
 
I wondered about the DL thing...and the reason I thought the state thing would be easier is just because we don't have a lot of those "joint" things. Right now we're living in a travel trailer, so no lease, no utilities, etc, but I'm not complaining because that all equals no rent. :) I did have a friend send me the official "list" of things though...we still might go that direction.

I use to fly with some of the crews from TUS (I was an FA for a few years), and everyone was super nice! I hear the IAH trips are pretty good though, and I have a place to stay there when I need to, so I'll probably do the commute thing for awhile.
