Which, then gets even worse, when the parents lack any control over their little children.

The screaming children thing on MCO flights is pretty bad, but I would have to say that the barking dog is a tad more annoying. Dogs have the ability to reach pitches unknown to babies...at least that is what I observed last week going from DAB-ATL from some psycho poodle. Fee-fee would not shuttup for the entire trip. When you can hear a dog over the thrust reverser noise on an MD-88 THAT is bad!

Kids act the way how you teach them to act, You can be firm, use bribary, or maybe waterboarding EXTREME:sarcasm:. but you get the point, some parents just let their kids act out of control with no punishment. I have been at the mall and seen at most a 5 year old say F*** You to his mother, and hear what she said " stop that darling" if that was my mom I would have got beaten infront of the whole mall :D:o, You just needa have control thats all:)

If I had a choice between a barking dog, a screaming kid, or flying on a Replacement Jet, I would take the kid or dog ANY day of the week.

What do you all think?

That is a slight understatement.

With my luck I will probably have to fly one in my lifetime. Not looking forward to that day. It would make me feel dirty all over.
