Does your dog sleep on the bed with you?

We have two cats and almost every morning when I wake up they are laying there with us.

Well, he isn't allowed to. But if there is a thunderstorm, he gets quite scared and there is really no way to stop him.

We have two small dogs a cat. Much like KDoersom our dogs sleep under the covers and the cat usually is on top of them.

naw, hell naw.
Caused many a fight with an old ex, but that junk doesn't fly.
"oh i guess the cat is ready for me to get up"
punt.

Since I sleep alone most of the time now with Adam in St Louis, our Australian shepherd sleeps on the bed with me. She's a good snuggle buddy :)

When our cat sleeps on the bed, which is often, she always allows us to share it with her.

Georgia sleeps in the bed with us, mainly because the GF has let her since she was a puppy. Queen size bed for me (5'11), Jess (5'11) and Georgia (Great Dane)...it can be a tight fit, but we seem to make it work out alright.

My dog isn't allowed on furniture....we just didn't want to deal with it when we first got her, so we have a nice rug that she likes right next to the bed. She's tried getting on before...it didn't end well for her. The cat slept on the bed when he was around.

We have 2 cats and a Chihuahua / Terrier mix. The dog (when she doesn't get locked downstairs) has a pillow on the floor in our room, or wll find a way to make it up under the covers down at our feet. The cats drop wherever...one likes to snuggle between my torso and arm...the purring usually puts me to sleep, so I allow it.

Nope. I have a hard enough time sharing my bed with my husband, let alone an animal. I don't want a face full of pet fur when I'm trying to sleep...

Our kitty we had when I was growing up would sleep at the foot of my bed sometimes. That was okay. He would go in my parents' room and sleep between their heads and purr. Used to drive them batty. :)

Oh heck yeah. Nap time would not be complete without my dog spooning me. At night she ends up taking up half the bed, and she always has to be touching me. Even if I move, she'll move too.

It sucks sometimes when we have to wash the sheets after we just did them because of paw prints, but it's a small price to pay.

The dog sleeps under the bed actually. The cats on the other hand, as was pointed out earlier, allow us to sleep in bed with them.

The dogs don't sleep with us. Not enough room and with one being a 365 day a year shedder, the hair is too much to handle.

The cats on the other hand... yes. However, they tend to get in one spot that is not in the way and keep quiet.

The last time I let a dog sleep with me I woke up to him trying to pee on my head. Luckily he had a belly band on, so he wasn't successful.

Heck yes. Pets are part of the family, they should be treated as such. Dogs, cats, kids...the more the merrier.

Yep! My cat Nezu always sleeps with me and has done as such since we moved to Texas. Only complaint I have is that she likes snuggling on my head on cooler nights, so I wake up choking on fur.

Yes, unfortunately. My dog demands to sleep either on the bed or on an article of my clothing. I started leaving a shirt for her to lay on because she kicks at night.
