Does St. Maarten have its own aviation government?

That`s what I guessed, well I have a problem now since the plane I will be flying will be F registered, I actually just need the F-CPL for 3 months then the plane will get other registration, for that one I can get a validation.....

You might want to re-read 14 CFR 61.23. Specifically the part that say "Not know or have reason to know of any medical condition that would make that person unable to operate a light-sport aircraft in a safe manner."

Will you be flying the plane in France ? If so, yes, you have a problem. You might want to try with another european country to see if they will issue you a conversion, but it is quite a lengthy process. Are you being hired to fly this plane ?

I`s gonna be my next job, and I will fly single pilot, the airplane is not in France but in Territoires d'outre mer, the local DCAC branch won`t let me fly with any other EU CPL they want the French....:(
 
It's illegal, challenge them to show you precisely where it says that a European CPL cannot fly there.
I believe you are a Swiss citizen, but is your CPL swiss as well ? Isn't there a way for you to get a UK or Spanish CPL quickly ?
I am not sure about the validity of the swiss CPL outside of Swiss though...
The JAA CPL is useable in all of the 27 countries that form Europe without any big restriction, it is european regulation and it supercedes the local legislation. IMHO the local DGAC is being very, very protectionist. The French carribeans civil servants are notoriously hard to deal with, and are usually very hostile towards anyone not from there. They'll do everything they can to keep you flying the plane, and if you succeed you can bet they'll make your life miserable.
If I were you I would call the DGAC in Paris, they are more easy to deal with.

The swiss CPL is valid only on HB registered planes, I don`t hold a JAA frozen ATPL, although the only difference with a Swiss CPL are the written tests, the standards or the Flight test are the same. The UK has a validation of the FAA CPL, but I can`t get the medical there due to my eyesight.

I`m gonna try to get in touch with Paris, wondering if they are working :insane: ???
