I can't believe there hasn't been any responses to this yet. I don't have an answer, but maybe I can get the ball rolling. I believe the plane is the Bede BD-5J and was the exact airplane used in Octopussy in 1983.

Is the movie part of the equation, or just the plane?

Are you trying to tell me you had a dream where you were standing on a pyramid in sort of sun god robes and a million naked women were all screaming and throwing little pickles at you? ;)

Okay, the laser hint sent me to Leo Loudenslager. ;)

On my wall I have an autographed photo of his Laser... sadly, the signature is fading :(

Ctab - your last hint is the best I have seen in all 28 questions...with the possible exception of the Linda Lovelace hint I gave.

I seriously laughed out loud when I saw it.

Well, since you know this... how does everything fit?

Well, Leo flew for AA, was a recipient of the Mike Murphy cup, and his Laser had bud light sponsorship, who also sponsored a team of BD-5J's, I saw them at an airshow once... I don't remember if Leo flew one of them or not.

Actually, Leo also flew the BD-5J in addition to his Laser 200 (A modified Stephens Akro). as a recipient of the Mike Murphy Cup, he was an Unlimited Class winner and therefore the U.S. National Aerobatic Champion.
