Do you have this routing on board?

What's not to like? They are all spelled out in the A/FD. You know what you're going to be cleared for before you ask, so you shouldn't be surprised or have any trouble copying them.

The A/FD is still free online here:
http://aeronav.faa.gov/index.asp?xml=aeronav/applications/d_afd

Click the link that says "
digital - Airport/Facility Directory
." Then click on or enter California. Then click the Search box. A list of all the airports in the state will come up, but above them is a line of three links. Click the middle one, "Supplemental." This opens a large PDF that includes all the general stuff in the A/FD. (During the current cycle--April 5, 2012 to May 31, 2012--you can go directly to that PDF here: http://aeronav.faa.gov/pdfs/sw_rear_05APR2012.pdf )

The list of SoCal TEC routes currently starts on the 54th page of that PDF (marked as page 394.) It goes through page 65 (marked as page 405).

I tried to attach a PDF of the current 12-page list of routes, suitable for printing or downloading to your smartphone or tablet, but was unable to. I can email it to those who want it.

You do, but many people may not. I think that's what Queeno is getting at. Lots of pilots are lazy. They just file some route and then figure they can load it into the GPS or whatever they have on board once ATC gives it them. Or they just file direct and let the ATC computer figure it out. She was double checking that you had the route on board so that if she said "as filed" you'd know where to go.

At Holloman AFB, a DD175 [military] flightplan was faxed to them; IFR filed by a fighter guy, that in the route of flight section said "Radar Vectors to LSV, please". :)
