Do I have this right?

You're right titansox. For some reason Jetcareers is a dang good place for crap like ATC prep.
They've helped me out since '07.

Love the Quenno!

Grats man. Better get an Xbox or an inflatable girlfriend or something though... hear it's a little boring on the off time.

The requirements for OTS are 4 years of college (not a degree) OR 3 years of full-time work experience OR some combination thereof.
why would you go through 4 years of college and *not* get a degree? that makes no sense....i would think if they're asking for 4 years of college, they're asking for a degree.

HAHA, it took me 4.5 years and my wife 5. I would have dropped out sans degree if I was offered an ATC job.

Just an update, I passed my class 2 medical the other day. I was a bit nervous about it, but in the end, it went flawlessly.

Beaver is about a 30 min drive from Pittsburgh, there is plenty of stuff to do, some great mountain biking/hiking too close by.

So here is an update on my situation.

Todays my last day at Mason. Its been a pretty rough day for me. Where as most people are saying "Good bye _____ have a great summer [see you next year]," For me its "Goodbye ________ have a great summer, good luck [I'll probably never see you again.]"

The good news is the next 16 months will be exciting. I start my private pilots training May 27th. I'll be heading up to Beaver in mid August.

Still, a very bitter-sweet day.
