DL "Emergence Week," new widget logo

Yeah, no kidding....looks like somebody did a little graphical plagiarizing!

On the other hand, nothing makes people want to spend more money on air travel like a new logo and paint job! :sarcasm:

Max it's like a pinstripe on a plane. Like the red and white cheatline on US Airways planes (I'd link a photo but airliners.net is down as of this posting).

I agree, the widget paint scheme is the best by far.

Here is a Concorde cheatline being painted on:

Thanks, that is actually what I thought it *might* be. The cheatline on DL places was on the older (read: ugly) DL livery from the 80's with the black nose bra, and the "Ron Allen" livery.

was anyone else a fan of the black nose back in the day? I thought it looked pretty cool on certain aircraft like the 88 and the 757

Originally, yes I was. My issue with that livery was it stayed around waaaaaaaaaaay too long.

It goot old and looked dated in comparison to other airlines who had chaged their liveries in a 10 year period!

It looked good on the 75/76 & 72!

hmmm i liked the old one better...with the red/white/blue...but the original paint scheme was actually the best IMO

Where's Doug?

So... he was there... right... as seen in this pic:

But... did he make it in the Rueters News Photo pic? Yep... here he is!! (See attached pic...)

It was kinda like "Where's Waldo"... but I finally found him!

;)

Re: Where's Doug?
