DIY taxes question

I'm out 142 nights and want to claim the $63 per night. I know where to claim it as a contractor using schedule C, but
am clueless where to claim on 1040 as company man.
I was told Schedule A with 2106 form, but those seem to be motels and meals along with car expenses.
It's not the last minute, but getting close!

What’s the rush?! You got a few hours left. Plenty of time.

Steve now sez you have an extra day because of a "glitch" in the system

Form 2106, line 5, column B: You can use $63/day value, prorating first and last days of multi-day trips in accordance with guidelines set forth on page 6 of Publication 463 (linked above). See also Form 2106 instructions for line 5.
