Diverticulosis

Hi Doctor,

Just finished my age 50 colonoscopy screening. Doctor said I have diverticulosis and prescribed more fiber. Will there be any problems from the FAA on this?

Thank you. One more question if I may - can the more fibrous diet reverse the condition or just slow its progression?

(I would have asked the doc yesterday but I was still asleep when he stopped by)

Do you have any idea if diverticulosis can disqualify you as an Air Traffic Controller?

I would not think so. I find no mention of it in the guidelines.
