RASTA
Hi Everyone!

CFII (<500tt) looking for an opporunity in the South Florida market.
I have a diverse skill set from labor management to owning and operating small businesses. I am focused, organized, professional and fair. From my Navy days as a P-3 tech I accumulated over 1500hrs of experience, not only troubleshooting and repair but all things aviation. My attention to detail is excellent and I am a problem solver.

Actively seeking an instructing job in the Palm bch. co. area, but will consider all offers, specifically freight.

I have a degree.
I speak english too, if that helps.

Regards,
P-3tech

I know very little about them except that most people I've talked to say "stay far, far away", but I think I remember seeing that Skyway Enterprises in Kissimee (sp?) was hiring PICs a few days ago. Maybe they need SICs, too? Again, I do NOT vouch for these guys, and most everything I've heard has been bad, but on the other hand, they're probably the sort of operation that would hire with your times, if you really, really want to fly freight.

heres a quick 3 page read about skyways...

sounds to me like:

a) the guys who dont like it are prissy SJS nerds who arent cut out for freight doggying

b) the guys who tolerate it, know what to expect, or have done similar before (it sounds pretty in line with my current job actually)

c) i wish someone would report on current pay, $300 a week is laughable.

d) i might hit them up to see what the current scoop is.

e) CASS = gold.

Hey Boris thanks for the lead. I'll do my D/D on the co. and report my findings.

TX- thanks for the summary and the link.

My initial g- search yielded little on the WWW, infact Skyways' site was down.

Here is a brief update on Skyway:
Called and spoke w/ Chris, sent resume, will follow up on Fri. I'll do some fact finding when I (hopefully) speak to CP. If nothing else it will provide all of us some current status on the co. Having said that, are there any questions that I could ask that would qualify the co. as a go/ no go; something particular to freight ops. that those of you w/ experience wished you would have asked?

totally unrelated: you guys following Tiger? Seems like the media has him by the tail. . .
