Good day,

If you all would be so kind and take pictures of any sound proofing you currently have at your Dispatch office and either direct msg them to me or post them here I would highly appreciate it. We are in the process of proposing some sound proofing our office and any new ideas would help great.

Have a great day and thank you for your time,
Louis

What - 130 views and no replies. I know what you all are thinking. Who is going to be the first to post a reply. Well never fear that is why I am here.

Soundproofing 101. :)

Envoy has a lovely pingpong table just outside the glass doors of the SOC that allows the Corporate folks to come down and unwind with a rousing lunchtime match.

The grunts, groans, and hollers of these players leaks into the SOC from about 1100-1300L, and among other things serves as an excellent alarm clock that it's time for AM shift to wake up and get ready for their passdown.

There has been, on occasion, instances where it's been so loud that our Dispatch Manager has to run out there and tell them to quiet down.

A bigger office.

Nope, they will just put more and more people in it to fill it up. Very noisy at times.

If he is talking about his username they are full. Bigger office with crew schedule and load planning on one side. Dispatch tomc and the bridge on another side. Hawaiian Soc is very cramped.
