Discount rooms at Bellagio?

I just stayed at the Barbary Coast right across the street from the Bellagio. Its a small place but its right on the strip and it only cost like $99/night. The room was nice sized and had a 42" plasma on the wall; it far exceeded my expectations.

Cool. $99 on a weekend night?

The motel 6 right across from the Executive terminal!! woot! lol.

Hey, don't knock it. I stayed there last year for $66/night. Tom Bodette even left the light on for me... :D

This year though it looks to be $90/night for that time frame.

Anyone have the scoop on Bally's? Next door to Bellagio, and looks to be much cheaper... I'm sure they're all the same once you close your eyes!

I've stayed at Bally's a number of times. Big, comfy rooms. Not luxurious but nice. Old skool. Good location. It's connected to Paris so it feels like 2 hotel/casinos in 1. Lots of food options. Featured in Honeymoon in Vegas. :)

I think Paris is worth the extra money, though. Very nice rooms.

If you are looking for really cheap and dont mind dorm like culture you can stay at a hostel for like 15/night. I stayed at one that was right on the strip and crawling with beautiful european college girls. They all seemed to have irish accents. Anyway just a thought.

Bally's was just on a show about hauntings. Its the old MGM Grand that had a fire in the 80s and apparently people are seeing ghost on a few of the floors that were involved in the fire. It was also in the local news recently about having a bed bug problem after a bunch of Chinese tourist booked out an entire floor for a week. All in all if you hate bugs and ghost I would stay else where. :(

:) :) Where is this place at???

right on the strip near old part where the overhead show is...something experience. go to Hostels.com or some websites like that. theres like two or three of them in Vegas. it is not a hotel though. its like a dorm ran by college students but i think they have a shuttle from the airport and they do limo rides at night for like ten bucks or so. thats how alot of european students travel across europe. over there its like 5 bucks a night.

i stayed there for a few days while doing the ATP instructor course but it was too far from north las vegas airport so i slept in my rental car a few of those nights preparing for my checkride (that was in august and the rental car had leather seats-fun fun)

Oh I know where your talking about now. Thats a pretty bad area of the strip. I didnt even know they had hostels here in Vegas. Now I know where to send my friends when they come to town on a budget instead of having them trash up my house. Thanks for the info :)

I stayed at Bally's last week, the hotel was fine. No bugs in my room.
