As a Director of Operations you will be instrumental in managing<br />the flight operations within the boundaries of safety regulations and<br />regulatory compliance, while at the same time foster a strong relationship with<br />the flight crews and promote the company&#8217;s goals and values. &nbsp;<br />Position description:<br />The Director of Operations will be responsible for management<br />of the flight activities and operations of the company, and provide leadership to<br />flight crew members, operational and dispatch teams. The Director of Operations<br />shall establish and maintain the company’s operational goals and objectives and<br />achieve the highest level of safety, FAA compliance, customer service and<br />standards for operating under Federal Aviation Regulations 14 CFR Parts 91,<br />125, &amp; 135. &nbsp;The Director of<br />Operations shall meet all requirements under 14 CFR 119.71 and will hold the<br />FAA-designated title of Director of Operations. <br />The Director of Operations shall participate in and be an effective part<br />of the company&#8217;s leadership team. <br />Operational duties include:<br />&#183;Develop, distribute and maintain the Company’s<br />General Operations Manual (GOM) and other company manuals and recommend<br />additional policies and procedures as they relate to safety of the company’s<br />Part 135 aircraft and operations.<br />&#183;Develop and maintain the Operations<br />Specifications for Part 135 Operations and coordinate with the FAA for<br />approval.<br />&#183;Develop and maintain flight dispatch policies<br />and procedures that govern the approval, delay, diversion or cancellation of<br />flight operations.<br />&#183;Oversee training programs for pilots, including<br />proficiency reviews, initial training, recurrent training and Flight Attendant<br />training.<br />&#183;Oversee the Safety Management System (SMS) and<br />serve on the Safety Committee board and as a member of the Emergency Response<br />Team.<br />&#183;Ensure flight operations comply with applicable<br />FAR&#8217;s, other federal and state requirements, and company policies and<br />procedures.<br />&#183;Develops standards for operational performance,<br />personnel qualifications, customer service and quality assurance and<br />participates in flight crew member recruiting and selection process.<br />&#183;Ensuring the highest levels of customer service<br />are provided to the company and its customers.<br />
