Nicholas Air Oxford, Mississippi:<BR /><div><u><strong>Position&nbsp;Overview</strong></u></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>This&nbsp;position will be responsible for managing a team of employees to maximize&nbsp;operational performance and company goals.&nbsp;Oversee the Flight Support Team and effectively organize Flight Crew&nbsp;Schedules to maximize utility and serve our customer needs. Ensure that both&nbsp;the current and any upcoming trips are assigned to Crews in the appropriate aircraft&nbsp;to meet the expectations of the scheduled trip. This role works closely with&nbsp;all Crew Members and other company departments to ensure best possible&nbsp;solutions are identified.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><u><strong>Duties&nbsp;&amp; Responsibilities</strong></u></div><div><ul><li>&nbsp;Interact with Crew Members in regards to flight schedules regarding trip assignments&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate with the Flight Scheduling Department on all trips</li><li>Ensure the appropriate crew is assigned to the applicable airplane on assigned trips&nbsp;</li><li>Rearrange Crew Schedules due to unforeseen circumstances</li><li>Willing to work a rotating AM/PM schedule. Will be required to work holidays and weekends as the schedule requires</li><li>Ensure part 91 and 135 regulations are followed in crew scheduling practices</li><li>Ensure that aircraft meet the performance capabilities of the trips assigned</li><li>Take into account the weather and NOTAMS, both during the journey and at the final destination.</li><li>Understanding performance and landing characteristics of company aircraft. &nbsp;Reviewing aircraft weight, fuel loads, and cargo loads with pilots</li><li>Responsible for operation and updating of the scheduling system&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor the flight schedule to ensure highest internal utilization</li><li>Escalate any demand concerns to Management and make necessary recommendations</li><li>Manage difficult or emotional crew member situations with courtesy and sensitivity</li><li>Flight Planning</li></ul></div><div>&nbsp;</div>
