Diabetic

I had a possible student ask me about his Diabetic condition, here is what he asked. Thanks for your help.

A quick question if you don’t mind, I am Diabetic (Insulin Dependent) I have never had a episode where I passed out, and always have what is needed for me to eat handy, I have heard that I cannot get a license because of my diabetes is that true or is there a way for me to get my license?
