I don't know. The captain told me to settle down about it and the TSA acted like it was a routine random check.

The came aboard during a layover. Talked to the Captain. Removed the bottoms of every seat on the plane and left them off. Then they left. When I said "Hey WTF" about leaving the plane like that, the Captain told me to settle down.

I left it at that but it stuck with me.

It was non union or I'm sure I'd have been video taped and ridiculed because we took IAH flying from XJT or some stupid crap.

I'm pretty sure that United views all of the IAH Express flying as their flying. :)
 
While maybe not specifically on topic, and it also seems to have been swept under the rug with the DOMA stuff today, the Supreme court also made a ruling regarding Miranda and your 5th Amendment rights.

From what I read, it's important to tell the police that you are invoking your right to remaining silent, simply remaining silent can be used against you.
To me this seems absurd.

I'd state I wish to not make a statement until I have counsel. Thats about it. It is not a refusal of cooperation (though most would take this as just that), you are stating that you are invoking your right to remain silent.

Well, you can always be charged with obstruction of justice for not following instructions...

Yes. In my case, they brought the dog, and the dog did a false hit on the pilot side wing root.

As far as Mike saying that this doesn't happen, well, we've agreed to disagree. As far as him saying they aren't taught it, well, there are some apparent cowboys running amok in the Midland, Texas office.

Did you report yours to AOPA? A multi mullion dollar civil suit will probably help them stop.
