DHS barely makes FFDO extension in time

...according to the article here. DHS waiting until the proverbial 11th hour to extend FFDO certifications past the new year.

They have gone out of their way to throw every possible obstacle in the way of FFDOs. Just one more item on a lengthy list of reasons why DHS and TSA benefit nobody except DHS and TSA.

So what's the deal with it? Are the Dems still trying to kill it or are they actually trying to movie it along? All the articles I'm finding online are way old.
