Detroit Area Opportunites?

Off In The Jungle

Well-Known Member
Hey Folks,

Anybody here know of anything shaking in Detroit, Michigan? I am a Com AMEL pilot with 2000 hours and 200 turbine PIC, all caravan. I also have an A & P and a FCC avionics license. I am a Detroit native and will be returning to the area after flying and fixing overseas for the last few years.

I would love to stay in Detroit, as it seems no one else wants to live there. :-)

I am short only the night time on the 135 mins, otherwise i could go after my ATP right away. Lastly, I have my multi, but have not used it since I got it four years back as my company only flies singles in the jungle during daylight hours.

Any thoughts from motor city guys would be awesome.

Martinaire might be in need for a pilot up in the Mich. area. They operate out of lansing. they use caravans and metros up there. if you need more info pm me.

I am currently flying for Mission Aviation Fellowship. It is really one of the best gigs in aviation I think, and in many ways I hate to go, but we want to start a family and my wife and I prefer western medicine.

I'm at JCC we work with the MAF group quite a bit. I have a guy that just went over there yesterday and would love to talk to someone fresh out of the field...
