One of the better ones I recall was for Southern Airlines (no, not the DAL upstart in Atlanta, Derg). They were pitching their one-class DC-9s.

The camera trucked forward down the aisle in first class, then the curtain between cabins opened, and the rear cabin was full of a herd of pigs. Yup, a LOT of pigs. Wiggling, squealing, and presumably doing what pigs do. The pitch was that on Southern, all seats are first class.

Not poetic, but memorable. The one time I flew Southern shortly afterward, I looked for the pigs. None in sight. Guess they were right.
