It's also a Delta hub, many on that route don't live in MSP.

That's true. I was just arguing about his statement it won't be successful. There's some odd routes out there that are successful.
Why is that?
Several theories, but one that kinda makes sense is that people travel in a counter-clockwise fashion, Asia - Islands - 'Merica then direct flight home. I dunno, but it always seems to be the case somehow perhaps there is a better explanation out there.
