My guess is no. It is a holiday today, so I would say it is safe to assume they will continue after the long weekend.

I hope there are more test dates offered. I still show under review status and was never moved to archived status. As of now, I still haven't received any more information.

They flew me in three hours before the testing, so I went to the OCC and the Duty Director was able to sit me with two domestic dispatchers.

Impromptu interviews began today with Managing Director of Flight Control here in ATL. They are lasting 15 mins or less.

15 minute interviews... Uhh wow. Sounds like that's just a formality. They know who they want already.

Unless I am mistaken, I believe those interviews conducted (Tuesday) were for local (read: XJ) dispatchers.

Wednesday brings a whole new group of external candidates for testing.

I didn't see anything in it that advertised it as internal favored. Overall it was well done.

I agree. Never a dull moment and a challenge. The chance to put your problem solving to the test.

I'd agree with Bob's assessment. I think the end is the most telling... when it talks about how to get your dispatch license, and "Flight Superintendent position is among the most highly sought-after at Delta (paraphrase)." They probably wouldn't have made it just to make us look awesome to the rest of the world. It's definitely geared to a demographic, and I don't think it's mostly to anyone in the world who wants to be a dispatcher.


...but they purposely left it quite open-ended.
