Delta TA

RA openly acknowledges that Bastian is his replacement.
When this happens I hope Jim Whitehurst comes back to be CFO. Bastian is no RA, and isn't much of a people person. Whitehurst was a great guy and was very much a people person. SJI needs a people person in upper management.

Anyone for a quick betting spread on which way it goes and by how much?

53-47 for and a sad day for DAL pilots.

I'll be at the pool with a beer in my hand to either celebrate or try to forget this POS ever saw the light of day.

I'm just concerned about tomorrow morning. Whether it passes or fails we are a very divided pilot group.

I'm not a DPA person, but the last few weeks including the way DALPA handled the campaign has been a disaster and a great marketing tool for DPA.

It feels like it was a bunch of old men with typewriters, rotary dial telephones who sent a calvary of blissful teenagers onto Facebook to do battle versus a hyper connected, decentralized and frustrated pilot group.

Being a relatively young South captain in a very North base has somewhat made me a target because they presume that my veins flow with PurpleSaurus Rex for the union and the company.

You can hold organized labor and also your employer in high regard but be vehemently against the TA language and know we need to flush some of the "inner circle" in our administration and certainly change how we do business.

I have labor kool aid and company kool aid but completely despise this event and fear for what's next.

That is incredible coming from this pilot group. Now we tread into uncharted waters. Some major house cleaning needs to be done at DALPA... clearly they are very out of touch with the pilot group.

I called that trouble was brewing the moment Harwood inserted himself into the process last year.
