If its the same guy I'm thinking about that spends quite a bit of time in Thomaston,Ga (KOPN). Then he is a great down to earth guy, and I have a feeling there is a lot more to this story.

What exactly is wrong about driving around an uncontrolled field? There are about a million legitimate reasons to be doing so.

It wouldn't be the first time I've heard of (or seen) local police try to make an issue at an airport where there was none to begin with.

This is the same guy that was youtubed on here a few months ago from Oshkosh talking about the hard A380 Landing. Once a tool always a tool...or its bad juju to make fun of the A380?

That landing deserved to be made fun of! Sticking it on and lowering the airport elevation are 2 different animals.... He hit so hard I thought both wings were going to have a pod strike due to the flapping, haha. 3-wire!


As far as this guy... sounds like it was a case of johnson measuring that got wayyy out of hand.

Yup, he's an ATL 777 Fooo.

Well, I was kinda thinking about bidding to the DTW 777 if I can hold it on the coming AE. Maybe one less for competition? :)
