More or less...I'm just saying that There is not so much as a 24hr gap in my life on my app so I am not real sure what they are referring to. Plus the problem is, they aren't very inviting with additional wording such as "give us a call and we can discuss it". I guess with 6000+ qualified applicants they don't have time to stop and worry about one here and there. I just hope it wasn't in error on their part and my app will forever sit in the fix it pile with no way to remove it.
 
There were two civilians at my interview. Myself(121 RJ CA/Heavyjet FO) and an air wisky CA. All the others were military. I know a bunch of civilians not hired through the flow/ssp programs. Everyone of them(myself included) had some sort of very serious connections whether they were interns/kids of dal pilots, etc. good luck to all and get in quick, I'm gonna need some furlough protection ASAP!

Any FOs with no TPIC? I know of a couple, obviously one on here. Just curious how common it is still. Guessing most have been stagnant for a good number of years too?

Of the four civilian pilots I know personally, one absolutely had zero TPIC, one I THINK had zero TPIC, one had 2000+ TPIC, and one had ~1000TPIC. All had very good connections.
 
I know it's possible, like I said just curious how many have been. I've networked about as much as I can at this point I think so it's just a waiting game hopefully. Thankfully the upgrade is right around the corner. Still very early in the game and with the hiring needs I am sure most everybody will get a call eventually! Fingers crossed.

Just focus on being the best candidate you can be, get your name out there to as many people as possible, do something every day toward that goal and you'll find success.

Don't just apply, ask some jumpseater for a LOR and sit on your butt. You'll be doing a lot of butt-sitting waiting for the call that won't come.
