Delta New Hire class

Just curious does anyone
know how many people interviewed for the most recent Delta listing and how many people they will hire.

No new requisition for the next class, FlightController? Both classes are coming out of this (long) round of testing/interviewing?

I'm hearing rumors of a 10% pass rate. Out of 25 I know personally that tested, all failed. Even for the battery's reputation this one has been brutal.

Assuming you pass the tests and get an interview, how long after the interview before they extend an offer or let you know you weren't selected?

It seems too late for Sep 1st start date, and they only start on 1st or 15th, so it looks like the 15th it is.
This testing session is unusually long, prob due to the fail rate. They normally test at least 50, based on what
a director said...This time I bet it's closer to 100.

They can be veeeery slow with this. My offer came almost 5 months after my interview, but they had some HR deal going on then...
Interviews should end Friday so I would say not too long after that before offers go out.

Yeah. It was 5 weeks from interview to offer for me. 5 months would have been hell!

Well worth it in the end though.

I am not at DL, but I had a multiple-month waiting period due to the department not being able to hire as many people for the class before mine as they wanted to originally. But just like you said, in the end it was well worth it.

During the interview, I was told to expect notification the middle of August. The first class starts September 15th; second class starts the end of October.

You guys got better nerves than I do.

I was "told" I was hired as I was getting on the elevator to leave the interview in 1998...one of my friends 18 months later was not and I couldn't say anything to him for weeks until he was officially notified. It would've killed me not knowing.

FWIW - his wife went into labor the night before and rather than come back in two weeks (offered by Delta), he continued with the interview. Take it for what it's worth.
