Really happy to see Endeavor on this list, especially after being told we basically had no chance when I was there. Congrats to all that made it.

Sometimes you take the first major that offers then try to get where you really wanted to be later.

Cost of living Chicago vs. Atlanta !!

A lot of the guys here are young and single and the apartment living is just fine with them, but for others with growing families, when it's time to buy s house, it adds up (specifically in Chicago / NY / etc)

If you’re from the area I could see why you’d make the switch. However, Chicago is way more appealing than Atlanta, personally.

In my time at "Chicago" three people have left for "Atlanta". In all cases the three people had their family based in ATL and had less then 5 years in.

I know of at least 3 who made the move and didn't have any prior connection to ATL. Also aware of at least 1 that made the move to SWA from UAL. I'm sure it probably happens in reverse for Chicago natives as well. My point is... It's not very surprising to see people switching to another major.

It's all a matter of perspective I suppose. Some people might not mind a hot summer in order to not have a cold winter, etc. When it comes to the "Big 3" of dispatch cities (Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta) they are all huge, sprawling, and have traffic that often sucks.

Yep, I agree for sure.

I will say that it would be a pretty hard move if you had more that 5 years in seniority built up. Would be hard to go back to working relief for sure.

Too many of their employees were making comments and posting random questions on message boards, rather than working on getting their dispatch licenses.
