Delta Flash Mob

Ok guys...here's the plan. Everyone who happens to be passing through ATL on the 12th at 10AM sharp, stop your planes, set the parking brake, climb out the escape hatch and we're gonna do one of these on runway 26L. Who is with me? :-P

What's wrong with this? Beats sitting there listening to some old guy whine into his beer in Shanhole.

I just read at the other forum that they did it for Delta PR. It wasn't really spontaneous and there several takes for the camera at one of the locations. Personally, I think it's dumb unless they negotiated time and a half for Flash Mob override. What's my motivation? Don't give these bastages anything for free.....

Really? You'd rather be "flash mob dancing" than drinking in a bar? Certainly not me.

ON duty? HIMS here we come.

I'm largely indifferent. It's viral marketing and it works because their SEO and keywords just went through the roof with the video shares and internet banter.

There was a karaoke stage a couple Christmases ago in DTW during, well, Christmas. I ALMOST got up there to sing a song because we were waiting for a jet, but I figured it'd end up on YouTube in a hot second and I'd be dealing with the haterade. In retrospect, I should have done it! :)

It's 10:18 now, how'd it go?

The best PR aspect of this video for Delta, so far as I am concerned, is the shot of the CAF's P-51 getting painted in the paint barn in Atlanta.

Other than that, it looked like a Dunder-Mifflin video.
