Delta Disqualifiers

Welp, it won't be the first time I've been called un-American or the scum of the earth, but I respectfully disagree. Mostly because I think I'd rather get my sugar at the end of the day in the form of beer, not at the beginning of the day when I'm begging for real food and not calories-from-tea.

We all have to deal with the consequences of the choices we make in life.

When Capt Kraby asks you at your Delta interview in Atlanta, "sweet or unsweet tea..." what's it gonna be?

Blasphemy! Boil your tea. When properly steeped, add the hot tea to 2 cups of sugar in a heatproof container. Mix well. Add water until container is full. Put in the fridge to chill.

Now having said that, I went off of sugar a while back (no more soda or sweet tea). So now I drink unsweetened tea. BUT when I order it, I throw in my Southern drawl so they won't mistake me for a Yankee.
Close...you leave the tea out to cool to room temp before the fridge, this allows the sugar to fully absorb and will leave it clear. If it goes straight into the fridge to cool, you'll end up with cloudy tea.

3/5ths compromise baby. About half the time they find a way to screw up the unsweet tea down here, so I have to pucker up and go full blown redneck. Tea quality is probably the single most influential criteria in restaurant choice (behind my $5 budget.. So I guess we're just talking about Subway here. Sorry guys.) Source: Atlantan CFI

YES. It is so hard to get good quality tea!
