Delta announces 75 CS100 purchase

"For just $220,000 a month, you're rescue 190's from their abusers; provide maintenance, fuel, hangars...and love. Call or join online in the next thirty minutes and we'll send you the photo of a 190 parked on the ramp, AND this beautiful tote bag...free. This is your chance to say, I won't sit by while a 190 suffers.

Please call, or go online right now."

Damn it Sarah! Where's my wallet...

Ok, this is pure comedy right here...

As long as I have my humanely treated high horse to hop on, why ain't Sara telling people to hump on down to their closest shelter to adopt?

I've got my 4...all "factory seconds"

probably better off being at mainline skywest than being stapled to the bottom of the Delta list....after all they are about to buy delta....or is it united?
Actually, we're going to buy all of Allegiant's Airbusses (Airbii?) once the Fuzz shut them down and go into competition for ourselves. I mean, the CEO's cousin's brother who is an LCA told my friend in Crew Support who told my other friend the check airman who was on my friend's jumpseat who told me.

Don't laugh. I've had "one of those guys" on my jumpseat a few times.

"Oh yeah, Skywest is buying United in a stock swap. I'm going to be way better off here than being a new hire there. Blah blahbitty BLARRRGH"

Meanwhile, my parenthetical thought bubble says, "Man, what the hell is in the water in St. George?! that's the second one this month"

I had a guy say he turned down his United class to stay at Skywest and "make history" bringing the E175 on property as initial cadre. "I'll go to United in a couple years after thats done, way too exciting to leave now". There's some weird stuff coming from that place. I wonder if he has left now that they have perfected everything Ejet related.

Oh good lord.

Pilot math.

Those couple of years he waited, even if he was even able to get in, will ultimately cost him a couple hundred thousand dollars and hundreds, if not a few thousand seniority numbers.

"But I was initial cadre on the J-32 at Trans World Express!"

"Sure gramps, let's go ahead and take your pill, get you bathed and put you to bed."

Back of the napkin math puts it somewhere between $250K-$400K. That guys is clearly very bad at math.

What an idiot.

I've actually heard that while I was tenured there. Not sure if it's the water in Utah, but that definitely didn't come from IAH or ORD crews.
