I'd wager that flights leaving KAPA have less gassy passengers than those departing KBUR. The relative quick rise in altitude is likely to trigger flatulation from a lower altitude. As hard as the manufacturers try you'll never have a sea level altitude in the cabin in the flight levels, the highest differential pressure I've seen is 10.5 psi. I'm sure youtube has lots of videos with liquids in a vacuum chamber that would demonstrate this in a fairly extreme manner.
