Delta Air Lines (External) - August 2025 Thread

I passed the test back in March of 2022 but did not move on past that. Any idea if my test would still be valid to move on to the next stage? I know they switched the exam they use a few years back so wasn’t sure if I took the current one or old one. It did have the little puzzle and ATC commands from what I recall.
I could be wrong but I heard a passing assessment stays on file 1-2 years. After that I believe you must re-test.

good luck to those who got the assessment. I swear I cant get any of these airlines to even look at my app
I would recommend having a professional review your resume. Just to make sure there aren't things that a recruiter or AI may decide to just throw your app away.

Also, with regards to this posting.. the deltas, uniteds, aa's or southwests of the world are just going to bin your app if you have no experience. I wouldn't even apply without a year of 121.

I have zero 121 experience but still got the assessment..

But then again I also have my cfii and other experience so not sure if that helps.

I would take all advice on here in regards to whether you should apply or not with a grain of salt. Don't forget many of the people on here are your competition for the same job they recommend not applying for.

100 pct. Im not that guy though. Found my home in the bigs already and have noooo intention to move.

Your odds are so remote of getting in (and in many cases youre going to have to click NO on a box that asks if you have a year of 121 dispatch. And that answer will trigger an automatic TBNT.) I just think it's a waste of time.
Makes sense. I was just thinking it might be good practice, and also a chance to get familiar with at least the first part of the process. Remove some of the mystique.

I guess if someone is so busy that doing the application got in the way of other priorities it would make sense to hold off.
