Gogo is surprisingly fast but I would never pay for it unless the flight was over 2 hours long and someone hadn't already completed all the sudoku puzzles from the in flight mag :teeth:

Why would they really discourage crew use? I can see some awesome in-flight functionality for pilots- specifically looking at the ADDS radar page and corroborating that with the installed radar picture. More situational awareness, no?

Seriously. The passenger in 36G has better, more in-depth information than us in the cockpit. We've fought that battle, lost and quite frankly, the powers-that-be don't care.

I generally fly east out of NYC so 99.999% of the time I wouldn't have WiFi anyway!

Or for half the money you can have virtually the same performance (5.4 seconds in the 1/4 instead of the 335XI's 5.1) not only that, you don't need a $600 wrench to do your oil change.

Take the other $20,000 and buy a brand new Yamaha R1, and use the rest from that to buy your self hookers for the week.

Just sayin.
