Saw one in ATL yesterday. More importantly they have a B17 parked close to it. And Nancy Pelosi’s 757 is getting checked.

There is literally nothing more than I hate than the use of that phrase. You can say my mother is fat, but if there's some hot under the collar dork on my jumpseat talking about being "initial cadre", I literally want to whip his ass.

Saw that B17 yesterday also. Didn’t know that plane was that slim. About 10 guys in that thing, amazing. We took off right behind the A220.

Canada used to make great aircraft. Then they tried to make jets and it all went to crap.


I read that DHC is making a comeback? Sold from Bombardier to Viking I think?

The Q400 got sold to Viking, see their new Twatters in YYJ all the time.

Global and Chalenger 300 series are pretty amazing aircraft.
 
@CFI A&P Viking has been making the Twotter for a while, but I think it was under license (Canadian version....) the 2, 3 and 6 are amazing aircraft. I’m proud have at least flown the -2.
What I was referning to was the whole DeHavilland Canada company, or rights.

If I remember correctly de Havilland stopped production of the -6 in the late 80s, then sold the rights of the -1 through -7 to Bombardier. Viking bought them in the late 2000s and put the -6 back in production.

There is a pretty good chance that I have that information mixed up, as I am not a de Havilland guru, but I’ve been lucky enough to get some time in the -2 & -6.
