Definition of PIO

That is more a fast approach problem as oppose to a PIO problem.

A too fast approach speed is one of the most common problems around. Just sit and watch operations on a Saturday at your local airport and see how many land on the nose gear first.
 
i thought this was an emergency and the pilot lost elevator control on final? shows what i know.
 
Pilot Induced Oscilation. Basically you start a pitch movement and then try to correct for it but cannot get the timing right and you end up making the situation worse.
 
I caught a bunch of crap from some guys here for posting my comments...but I saw a Skywest Brasilia do that same thing a couple of years ago in KSLC.

And a Final check to make sure your gear are down... and your flaps are set.
