long story short i decided not to go into aviation as a career.
the industry seems like a huge mess and i doubt it can fully recover, well that and the massive debt that i now have doubts that i can pay off. still something i would love to do.

decided to go into information technology something else ill like.
lol and im really am hoping this is a wise decision

At worst you will be better off money wise and can fly for fun. At best you will be flying a private jet and we will still be here stuck in this mess. I'm betting you will make it; Come back and post a pic of your G-IV when you do.

I made the decision to stick to my career in the oil and gas industry and fly for fun. I do still want to get my CFI though. Good luck in your future endeavors

Good Luck with I.T. A lot of the operations in IT are being outsourced to India maybe during the pre-a bit post .com era you'd be in demand and earning over $150,000 a year wouldnt have been out of the question. Then Uncle Sam would be taking 39% at the end of the year you'll be in tears!
