The CAF just started fundraising to restore the (THE) C47 that lead the 800 or so others in 71 years ago today. They have raised over $95,000 in less than 3 days with a final goal of $250,000. A pretty awesome project that will be the best flying museum around I think.

The plan is to get it to Normandy for the 75th anniversary in 2019
