Damage Reports

Charley passed WELL to the Northwest of us. In fact, the thunder storms we've had in the past two weeks were much more severe than anything we saw from Charley.

What was the damage from Hurricane Frances? I'm supposed to be there next week...and havn't been able to get in touch with anyone at the school yet.

Did the Aviator get blown away? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
 
The majority of the fleet (19 planes) is in Missippi right now. It is safe. From the reports we have right now the school is generally in tact but there was some hanger damage and the couple planes that had to be left behind in maint were also damaged.

The student housing is supposed to be in decent condition as well. I would assume there is some damage though.

We are scheduled to return with the planes in the next few days but i would not assume that you will hear from anyone about the school until the power gets restored and everything is put back together. Be a little patient. Everything will be fine but it will take a little time.

thanks for the update John....yeah, I figured I wasn't getting anyone because the power was probably out.
 
Yeap, same here. I was supposed to be there as of last week, but Frances kinda changed my plans /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif. I'm going to head down there tomorow and figure everything out as I go. Hopefully those other hurricanes will not come close to Ft Pierce, if so I'll have to find a good hiding place.
