Polishing Solpersteine plaques in Berlin

Stolpersteine (stumbling stones) is a project of the artist Gunter Demnig. The project commemorates people who were persecuted by the Nazis between 1933 and 1945.
Stolpersteine are concrete blocks measuring 10x10cm which are laid into the pavement in front of the last voluntarily chosen places of residence of the victims of the Nazis. Their names and fate are engraved (ERMORDET = MURDERED) into a brass plate on the top of each Stolperstein.
They are made of brass, and obviously they get pretty well tarnished in the Berlin weather. There are groups that handle certain areas, but some get forgotten and a good deal of plaques have not even been installed yet.
A little brass polish, a throwback to my boot camp shining skills and we kicked out about 20 in an hour with thousands to go over the next month.

Those are very pretty looking dots, @NovemberEcho, good job!

PS EDV and ENY don't even friggin look close to me. Is the recurring confusion due to Y and V kinda similar?

Honestly I don’t understand that confusion. Maybe at a quick glance with your data blocks made super small but otherwise it’s easily distinguishable to me too
