What does that transition look like as far as training?

9 months from start to finish. Do Basic Nav in an H-6 series, then AQC which is mostly sim until a quick succession of checkrides on basic operation. After that it’s about 4 months of TDYs to various locations for all the qualifications roughing about 130-170 hours total (but that includes some cross country time), and then you take a BMQ ride at the very end. Head to your assigned unit from the training battalion and expect to deploy every 2 months for the next 18 in order to get you FMQ.

Canada's Nolinor operates the world's largest fleet of 737-200s (10, including some new to them) and is retro-fitting them with mostly glass cockpits. They fly into a lot of gravel runways, and -200s are the only 737s approved for gravel.

I saw 93 on the thermometer at my house. Official PAJN was 85. Either way, too dang hot.
