daily pic

I told the crew that even though we had a long layover, I already had plans, and they won't want to go with me...I had swapped into a 20 hour San Fransisco layover during Fleet Week.

The whole crew ended up coming out and watched the entire show, even @JordanD and @ChasenSFO hung with us, and some girl came up to @ChasenSFO swearing that she matched with him on Tinder or something.

Not the worst way to earn a living.

I got to watch from a sailboat out on the bay, what an amazing day!

A picture from later in Chasen's night...

I was tasked with creating a time on target mission. It had to be at least 30 minutes long. The route was my choosing.

So I chose my buddies farm as an Aerial Check Point.

P.S. We hit the target at -6 seconds.

In a previous life @Adler was my flight engineer. In the current life, he flew his last FO trip with me before upgrading. I think we'd both agree the previous life was more fun. He did always like to document the 727 way. Here is our hero resting in Laredo.

The best of times,
flying through a towering CB because we were empty and Matt wanted to teach us a lesson,
climbing to 390 in 15 minutes because it's a Super27,
seeing 20 degrees nose down on approach past the FAF because the captain refused to go around,
diverting to LRD within 10 minutes of getting the ATIS at MMIO despite not a word being said between eachother - CRM was just that good,
but most importantly, letting eachother take a nap during hour 30 hour of duty because we trusted each-other,
the best of times.

Maybe to Asian girls, we white guys all look the same too.

needs more tie

Ties like to get stuck in stuff when loading and strapping 40,000 lbs of random freight...

@Bandit_Driver
used to work for the other company, where they wore ties but didn't touch freight. You can tell by how clean his shirt is and how foreign holding a strap seems to him:

But we had tons of freedom and great crews, allowing for nonsense like this:

Yeah I'm getting the idea a tie would be a bad idea. Awesome shots. Would you do it again?
