daily pic

What is the blister on the left side of the fuselage? And what is that on the belly, beneath the blister?

Secret stuff. Voodoo 1 is Raytheon's testbed for stuff.

Minus the Madonna Boob Cone on the front and the sun blister on the side.....

MY GOD the B-727 is such a sexy, beautiful airplane. It's a shame on Boeing that they have no plans for...."revisiting this design" somewhere in the very near future.
Miss these very much. (and the booby cone and sun blister is some black ops coolness!)

I just miss the simplicity.

"What airplane"
"Boeing 727"
"ohhh...a Boeing, nice!"
"yea, it's like a 747. The 747 has four engines, we have three"

way better than, "Well it's an Embraer 175, it has like 80 seats and says Delta on the side"

Yeah I'll be able to explain my next airplane better, but nobody will know the airline name.

Don't have a daily pic, but here's a new daily video :)

Got to do some aerobatics for the first time the other day in the Pitts S2B. I wish every flying club had access to a Pitts.

That's awesome. Just earlier today I was thinking about getting a Pitts acro flight as an Xmas gift to myself. This video only confirms that. :)

Check out local flying clubs that have acro acft. In my case this particular flight cost me $150 for one hr flight, plus lunch for the insturctor. (They charge around $40/hr normally). Most commercial operators charge around upwards of $1000 for the same hour. Flight Clubs are the way to go!

It's nice being on the other side. Came back to visit, and for a doctor's appointment, and while I was in town some old co-workers were telling me how much the place keeps changing.

"The Jack Vidal," seen leading the A Concourse at BWI on the last bank to everywhere. Moments later I'd be on board N616SW to Dayton, The spare in play in place of the usual -800.

Make it a gift that keeps on giving. Do some light acro in an airplane that you can also earn your TW endorsement at the same time! Totally worth the hours and money.

I love that view at BWI - always stop there for a bit when I'm through there.

Great taco place right down the way in B Concourse -- Zamba's, or Zolter's or whatever -- heck, there's a lot of good food in BWI. Next time you're in the area give me a shout. I make it a habit of leaving Ohio as fast as possible, so BWI might become a regular stopover for me!

Good old ESA. I think that might be the highest time S2B in the country, maybe world.
