I'm almost an "elite" member on these flying buses now. Just got a free trip going to Vegas this week. Yes, the seats are damn awful. But for less than $110 roundtrip I've gone from SFO to DEN/MSP/IAH/ORD/PHX/LAS at least once each this year so, can't beat that. Never been more than 40 minute late either. Useless tray table, though for sure.
.
To each their own. I very rarely travel for more than 3 days so a backpack is just fine for me. The old Frontier was my favorite along with Sun Country to travel on. However, when they have sales like today where SFO-LAS is $30 roundtrip for an hour flight in those crappy seats...you can't beat that. I mean United charges me $37-120/segment for non-rev travel. I have UA bennies but I fly Frontier because it's CHEAPER than flying standby. I loved Frontier, flew them often in the 2000s, but I'm sorry, I would gladly save $200 to give up the direct TV and seat without sacrificing safety and punctuality. Just my thoughts on the matter.I'd rather pay more and have the old frontier, though I'm obviously in the minority on that one.
John McCain's flight suit when he was shot down over Trúc Bạch Lake. I cannot believe they display this as a trophy.
