In order to land and see this.

OMG, the IL-62 pilot's are landing with the thrust reversers out!? Don't they know it's flaps in the flare?! Those bastards...hopefully the autopilot was on promptly at 100ft on takeoff/off at 200ft and they waited to cancel at the gate (Did i get them all?)

You forgot to mention that they're also flown by North Korea!

They do it all the time on the Classic.

When you operate a fleet of 727's, getting a new plane doesn’t mean the plane will actually be...new. Luckily this bird's previous owner also uses an all white paint scheme, so all they had to do was paint over the old logos and flags - I call this scheme “dirty white with white”.

I stumbled into a hanger in Central Alabama. All of these are airworthy (for the most part)

And these are the only pictures that turned out. I'd guess another dozen or so not-as-sexy planes (arguably) , such as PA30, BE58, Harmon Rocket, Glasstar, L19 etc... a couple of GII's dude is trading in for a GV.

Yeah that's the collection of a local trucking mogul gazillionaire. I am good friends with a JCer that worked in that flight department. If I remember correctly this guy owned a two time champion reno air racing mustang. Its always neat to get a peak in the hangars there. What had you in KTOI if I may ask?

That was indeed a pretty great place to work. You can't find a better bunch of guys that work at the hanger there. It was great getting to work in and around all of the warbirds for a few years.

Now THAT is one airplane I wish I could have flown.
