I can't explain using that much runway other than incompetence... even with manual spoilers and no autobrakes they should be off in 6000/6500 ft.

Ever since I first saw a picture of this monument, I've wondered how a point on an island in the ocean could be considered "Continental USA." I would think that honor would go to some place in the everglades southwest of Miami

The water is pretty shallow between the Keys. Also, it's considered on the "continental shelf", so who knows.
Southpoint on the island of Hawaii is the southern most point in the States though. Good cliff jumping there too.

Out sick and had time to edit my pictures from last month. I've posted a few, but here are the rest that came out well.
Sunset heading west to Kauai.
Sunset through the (terribly scratched up) side window while heading east to Hilo.
Full moon (not this most recent one, but the last one) over Haleakala.
Sunset behind the two new hangars going up in Honolulu.
Sunset while heading westbound back to Honolulu from Maui. The windshields in these planes are always scratched up and dirty.
And finally, something slightly different than sunsets... An Island Air ATR captured in "panning mode" on my camera.
