Oh what a dump. There's no thousands of people milling around, no hundreds of tourist shops and shops selling all kinds of crap, thousands of cars, traffic jams, noise, pollution....all the things that make an area civilized.

Man, what a pristine, beautiful day. Look at those mountains and the cloud layer below them against that beautiful blue sky with the sun reflecting off the snow. Where is that specifically? @z987k

It was from the top of chair 6 at the Alyeska ski resort in Girdwood, AK. About a 10 minute walk and 2 lift rides from where I live.

You're a very lucky man. I'll have to do a bit of research on the net then about Girdwood. I so enjoy reading up on the areas there and viewing photos. I think on one of the episodes I watched on Buying Alaska, a couple was looking for a home there to buy and move to.

A little action in Palm Beach today. Got a tour of the Everglades on our 30 mile final. Not a bad delay leaving though.

Cruising back home at FL350

I was there yesterday from around 230 until 4. Routes going south and north were totally saturated and MIA was running some crazy spacing.

Get yourself a set of backcountry bindings (usually Fritchi or Dynafit), and a pair of skins and you will never have to deal with crowds again.

Hahaha. Very true. Especially considering they get back to Anchorage between 2 and 3 am. It really is not a very quiet cockpit though.

It seriously looks like lay down sleep. I only got to step on the TWO beds on my way to the roof...but I can only imagine getting some quality shuteye on them. Must be nice.
