It's all been snow up here. 16" in the last 24 hours. I'm still waiting for a nice 3 or 4 foot dump in one day to make for some epic skiing.

Guess the airport ....

Sure you can, you choose not to.
If everyone "lived" in the mountains with the concomitant strip malls, roads, housing destructions, and other various human detritus what would be the point? They wouldn't be the mountains anymore. Oh, wait, most of CO is crapped all over already. My dad was in the original 10th at Hale. I know whereof I speak.

Germany huh? How to get a job like this?

Let's go local someday. A JCer showed me a cool place you can ski without leaving the airplane...

Santa Rosa Regional Airport in Santa Rosa, Ecuador. The airport was recently built. It has a beautiful new runway, beautiful terminal, and a very modern control tower. There are no scheduled flights and biggest local "city" has a population of 20,000. The only thing we saw in the terminal other than our handler was a cat:

This was the local gourmet meal in a small port town of 300 people: squid, clam, shrimp, crab and fish ceviche. The meat is cooked by acidic reaction, not heat.
