daily pic

@Fencer, just curious where it was taken if it was taken this afternoon, even here in So Cal the weather is nice, 50's but windy, not quite BBQ weather.
 
Flying back to Gwinnett County (KLZU) from Savannah on Sunday. As nice as it was up here, you'd never know the surface weather was overcast at 300', with 1SM of visibility.

I can't post a pic of the note because stevo and dougie will pull out the ban hammer.
But it involves T-bagging my door handles.

Thanksgiving day I went out with my brother-in-law and his buddy on his buddy's land to hunt rabbit (near DAY). I had never been hunting before, and had only shot a gun (other than a bb-gun) once before. I'm kind of an animal guy, but after my dog bit my kid, my reluctance to shooting an animal declined. Besides, I figured the odds of me actually shooting something were practically zero.

Much to my surprise a rabbit darted out of the brush and to my right (I was on the end) about 20-yards in front of me. I didn't aim (as they told me) but sorta pointed in the direction of the speeding rabbit. Result: Clean head shot, not a single BB to the body. Beginner's luck I suppose. :)

After we deep fried the turkey that afternoon, we put the rabbit in there that the friend skinned for us. Was delicious. Was grateful for the experience and that it wasn't a pregnant female bunny - otherwise I'd still be sitting there crying.

Here's the proof - I am now a man... I guess.

Nice to see there is still a blue sky above those clouds. This weather has been screwing with me the past 5 weeks. Every day I've scheduled to take my commercial multi its been low IFR here in ATL. Scheduled again tomorrow morning for the 4th time.
