GX Said:
...Que the airplane....

IF he's a Brit, he means 'line-up.' as in "Que for departure."

IF his spell-check doesn't work on this site, he means 'Cue the airplane.' as in "Cue Dave Letterman to start the monologue."

Both work in this context.

Sint Maarten is highly overrated, just like most of the touristy locations in the Caribbean. Who says different hasn`t really seen the rest of the world.

I dunno I just think that after the 10th freaking 747 landing there it gets boring, the fact of it being an off week didn`t matter much as there isn`t really much talent year round, it`s too much of a Cruise ship bunch kind of place, you need to head towards St Barth and go to places like Nikki Beach.

I don't totally disagree, but I would have no problem going back and doing the exact same thing for another week. Yeah, I'm not cheering every time an airplanes flies over the beach but... I like being at the beach, and I like drinking beer, and I like airplanes. So if I can drink beer at a Caribbean beach and an airplane happens to fly over every half hour or so, I'm content.

Haven't been to St. Bart's yet, and no doubt it looks amazing, but it doesn't get 747s crossing the beach at 100'. Overrated or not, that's what makes St. Maarten special... or at the very least, unique.

I feel guilty posting an iphone picture, but whatever...

oh man that brings many memories, my girlfriend use to be a 727F FO (her first flying job) and I use to jump seat all time, as the plane would stop every hour or so to unload/load I remember standing on the stairs by the cargo door like that waiting for the stuff to be loaded....unfortunately they got parked. What company are you working for? do they need any rated FO?

Do you know what the story is on those planes? I see them all the time riding the employee shuttle into the terminal.

I saw an old Eagle 135 left out of there the other day, bound for MHV.

I was picking up a plane myself, but this one was an old Freedom Airline's plane. I do not know what their plans are for it.

Fighting our way among the heavy iron at KATL, Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, Atlanta.

Fly Delta Jets, Y'all!!!! :D

Landed at around 11:30AM, picked up a passenger at Landmark, and departed again around 12:15.

Would have seen you if I had been there, you went right in front of our ramp (6N). Unfortunately, I didn't get to ATL until about 3ish.

Next time, give some love for the "light twins" with the pink fuschia engines :D
