The angle of your picture makes the balancer shaft pulley look like its not a concentric pulley...
I actually tried to figure out how the hell that would work... Then I saw it was perspective issues
Once you do it, the next few times are much much faster I've found

For my 1000th hour I had my student sign my logbook, he wanted to put something with his cert # so I told him to write his qualifications. If every student was like him we would need half of the CFIs that we have, I wish all students were like him.
I should also note that he was determined to be my 1,000th hour and made the comment back in the summer when I was hovering around 750. We flew our butts off last week so that the 1,000th could come at a time that fit both of our schedules. There is a thread in member announcements about it, but his wife organized a few friends to be in the hangar when we got back and she got me a cookie cake too.

Are you guys in the old Navy hangars with the giant wooden doors? I used to work line service for Kaiser many years ago and we would use some of those hangars.

If I recall correctly, that hangar has some "dead space" in between the 4 hangar bays that isn't obviously accessible. When I was a line guy there, me and a buddy got into that area between the bays and found a bunch of old artifacts from who-knows-when. Memorably, there was some sort of power unit that was labeled "Convair Astronautics".
I don't know what your facilities look like, but I always loved the history of those old hangars. They're certainly infinitely cooler than that old shed that AMF now occupies at HWD.
